We offer two services for your clients - and their families and friends.

  • The ability to give a teddy bear as a condolence gift. The people who want this service are usually friends, relatives or co-workers of the deceased who want to show their respect by sending a condolence gift.

  • The ability to set up a Teddy Bear Legacy in the name of the deceased. The people who want this service are usually the close family members themselves, who like the idea of giving joy to others through teddy bears – in the name of their loved one. They will designate the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital where they want the teddy bears sent.

In both options the customers purchase two identical teddy bears (or other stuffed animals) for one price on MamaBearsPlace.com  – one goes to the immediate family member or to another loved one and the twin bear gets sent to a child in the hospital. Or both teddy bears may be given to children in the hospital. MamaBearsPlace also donates 5% of the purchase price to the UNM Children's Hospital in Albuquerque, NM.

Teddy Bear Displays – available for purchase – but not required.

Some of our funeral homes have found that it is easier to get the teddy bear message across 
if they have a physical display for the clients to see. 

So we designed two offerings:

  1. A tasteful display that is suitable to set on a table in your funeral home lobby. It is a small lightweight upholstered chair about one foot square and 18 inches tall. It holds two identical teddy bears who each have a heart hanging from their necks: One says "I’ll be sent to a Family Member or Someone Else". The other one says "I’ll be sent to a Child in the Hospital". The title at the top of the display reads: "Would you like to SEND A TEDDY BEAR as a Condolence Gift?" "HERE’S HOW" Instruction Cards are provided to complete the on-line process.
    PRICE: $75 delivered and it's yours to keep.

  2. A display that is suitable for your Consultation Room – It is one teddy bear sitting on a small platform. The small sign on him says: "Would you like to create a TEDDY BEAR LEGACY in the name of your loved one?" "HERE’S HOW" Instruction Cards are provided to complete the on-line process.
